Hi 7th grade Wildcats! I look forward to my third year here at SMA teaching 7th grade Social Studies and Art. I earned my B.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies in Education, Psychology, and Family & Consumer Science from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA and I have also graduated from the EPI Teacher Certification Program through Polk State College. I am certified in K-6 Elementary Education and Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum. When not immersed in the latest political news (hence the love of Social Studies!), I love spending time with my husband of 13 years, our 4 year-old daughter Brooklyn, and our newest addition - 5 month-old Alexandra. I also love to cook, play the piano, cheer on the Chicago Bears and catch up with family in South Dakota.This year, I am looking forward to helping each student grow academically as well as personally, challenge the students to think outside the box, and experience a wonderful learning atmosphere!
