6th Grade Team

I'm excited to be a member of the SMA family this year! I graduated in 1990 from Agnes Scott College with a BA in economics. After a year or two in retail management, I found teaching was more "me." I earned a Master of Arts in elementary education from USF and taught second grade in Hillsborough County for five years. In 2001, I was conferred with a PhD in childhood language arts/reading, also from USF. A classrom with children is really where I prefer to be, so it's good to be back! I have three Wildcats of my own---Emily (7th), Alex (4th) and Erikson (1st).
