Mrs. Nelson

Welcome to 3rd grade!  I graduated from Wheaton College in Chicago (go Cubs!) with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  This will be my third year teaching 3rd grade at South McKeel Academy.  Prior to working at SMA, I had the opportunity to teach 3rd and 4th grade in Illinois, California, and New Mexico for 8 years.  3rd grade is such an exciting year in the life of a child.  I find great joy in inspiring my students to reach their potential and in helping them to understand the difference they can make in the world.
