Welcome to 6th Grade Science Wildcats!
I’m excited to kick off the 2025–2026 school year at South McKeel Academy! Each year brings new opportunities to spark curiosity, foster discovery, and help students uncover their passions and purpose.
This will be my 20th year in education and my 7th year at SMA. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Boston College, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Lesley University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida—Go Bulls! I’m certified to teach kindergarten through sixth grade and have taught everything from 2nd to 6th grade, though my heart has always been with upper elementary and intermediate students.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my two sons, Taelor and Wyatt, catching movies, lifting weights, and trying new restaurants.
I can’t wait to meet all of you—I’m looking forward to an amazing year together!
