Shelly Calzada

Hola. My name is Shelly Calzada and I teach K-3 Spanish. I will also be teaching two 5th grade classes this year. This is my second year at SMA, my 6th year with the Schools of Mckeel, and my 15th year in the profession. I have two degrees from Florida Southern College- a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Master's degree in Education. I also spent three semesters abroad, studying in both Spain and Mexico. I believe that learning a language should be fun. However, the learning process often requires patience, perseverance, and a sense of humor! I look forward to working with you this year.
