Welcome to Kindergarten, WILDCATS!

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! This will be my fourteenth year in education and my twelfth year here at McKeel, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this kindergarten journey with your family.

I am a proud double graduate of the University of Florida, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Elementary Education. I also hold certifications in Elementary Education (K–6), Preschool Education, and English (Grades 6–12), along with endorsements in Reading and ESOL.

Teaching children to read is my greatest passion because I believe reading opens the door to every opportunity that follows. Kindergarten is a year of incredible growth, confidence, discovery, and joyful firsts, and I am honored to be part of that journey.

My calling is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, known, encouraged, and inspired to learn. Every child deserves one adult who never stops believing in them, and I hope to be that teacher for every child who walks through my classroom door.

Thank you for trusting me with one of life's greatest gifts. I cannot wait to watch your child learn, grow, and shine this year!
