PreK Director; Guidance K-3
I am excited to be the preschool director and guidance counselor at South McKeel Academy and McKeel Academy Central. I graduated from Florida Southern with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have a Master's degree in Counseling and Educational Leadership. In 2018 I graduated with my Doctorate in Education from Southeastern University. I have worked in education for the past 25 years and have taught gifted, kindergarten, and guidance. I have always had a love for early childhood education and love working with preschool students. I take pride in building relationships with parents, teachers, and children.
The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn - Maria Montessori.
