Welcome to 4th grade, Wildcats! My name is Kaitlin Joiner. I am overjoyed to be part of the McKeel family! While this is my first year at South McKeel, it is my 12th year in education. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Warner University and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Literacy Education from Southeastern University. I am also Reading and ESOL endorsed. Teaching reading and writing is my passion and novel studies and read-alouds are a regular in my classroom! My philosophy of teaching consists of doing what is best for students and igniting in them a love of learning that will last a lifetime. To be educated is a gift- a gift that can never be taken from you! I am looking forward to a memorable year!
