Welcome, Wildcats!
I have been honored to be a part of The McKeel Academy Family since 2003, when the first elementary campus opened. During my 23 years at McKeel, I have had the privilege of teaching Pre-K, kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade. With 34 years of experience in education, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and helping every child grow and thrive.
I am certified in Pre-K through sixth grade in Elementary Education and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern University. I am ESOL endorsed, Reading endorsed, and have received training in the Orton-Gillingham approach.
It is truly a joy and a privilege to be an educator, and I am especially grateful to have the opportunity to serve our students and families here at McKeel. I look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and making memories together!
