Mrs. Tompkins, Gifted

Welcome Wildcats!  This is my 16th year teaching at the Schools of McKeel Academy. I graduated from Florida Souther College with a degree in Elementary Education.  I also have a certificate in Gifted Education. My main role is working with the gifted students at SMA.  We have a great time stretching and scratching our brains!  This year I also have the privilege to teach a 7th grade Math class to our 6th grade students and a PreAlgebra class to 6th grade students. Please be sure to visit my webpage to learn more about Junior Achievement, Math Counts and Yearbook.

Junior Achievement

JA is an excellent opportunity to volunteer at your child's school.  The program consists of teaching 5 lessons over a 5 week period.  All the lessons and supplies are provided for you and there will be a training to help you become familiar with the curriculum.

If you are interested in becoming a Junior Achievement volunteer or would like more information please email me with your contact information.   All volunteers need to be approved school volunteers.

Remember in order to make this program a success, we need your help!
