My name is Debra Garcia. This will be my 4th year at South Mckeel. I get the absolute privilege of teaching 2nd - 6th graders SPANISH!! I love teaching Spanish to the students, not just the beautiful language that is so useful in today's world, but I get to share cultural traditions, celebrations, music, dance, etc. I strongly believe in preparing students to be global citizens and to have an appreciation and understanding of other languages and cultures.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Spanish from the University of Arizona, as well as a Masters in Education from Florida Southern College.
