2022-2023 School Year

Welcome Wildcats!

My name is Ms. Skipper and this will be my 11th year teaching, my second year at McKeel. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. This year I will be stepping into a new role as a reading interventionist.

A little information about me-

I grew up right down the road in Highlands County, come from a large family, and spend a lot of time on our family's cattle ranch. When I graduated high school, I went off to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida. I graduate in 2009 with my bachelors in elementary education, and then continued on to get my masters in special education with a concentration in deafness. Yes I do know some sign language.

Hi Wildcats! Welcome to 6th grade social studies!

My name is Ms. Skipper and this will be my 10th year teaching, but my first year at McKeel. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, but my favorite was always 6th grade social studies. I am beyond thrilled to be teaching it again.
