Hello, my name is Tara Dunsford and I am the Instructional Coach for South McKeel. An instructional coach is someone whose chief professional responsibility is to bring evidence-based practices into classrooms by working with teachers and other school leaders. I love going into classrooms to model lessons and working alongside the teachers, helping them achieve their highest professional goals.

As a former Reading Teacher and Coach, I will always be an advocate for helping children discover a deep love for reading. I have attached several documents to help parents encourage and help develop this passion at home.
I graduated from Warner University with an Elementary and Primary Education Degree in 2002. I earned my Masters in Curriculum Design from the University of West Florida in 2016. I am also certified PreK-6th grade and also ESOL endorsed. My passion is traveling and training teachers internationally, particularly, in the countries of Colombia and Nicaragua. It is my privilege to train teachers and bring supplies to underdeveloped schools and show them how to create a love for reading and literature!
