Jessica Sweeney
2nd Grade Team
After serving as a substitute teacher at South McKeel Academy for one year and then as second and third grade paraprofessional for two years, I decided I loved the kids and school so much that I went into the classroom. This is my seventh year teaching second grade at South McKeel and I absolutely love it! I'm a graduate of Bartow High School and also Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In addition to my education certification for K-6th, I also have my Reading Endorsement and the Civics Seal of Excellence. I have two amazing children; my daughter graduated from MAT last year and my son is currently a senior there.. My husband, Jacob Sweeney, is the Varsity Girl's Soccer coach for MAT as well. We are ALL IN. GO WILDCATS!
