Jessica Sweeney
2nd Grade Team
After serving as a substitute teacher at South McKeel Academy for one year and then as second and third grade paraprofessional for two years, I decided I loved the kids and school so much that I went into the classroom. This is my seventh year teaching second grade at South McKeel and I absolutely love it! I'm a graduate of Bartow High School and also Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In addition to my education certification for K-6th, I also have my Reading Endorsement and the Civics Seal of Excellence. I have two amazing children, and most surprisingly, one on the way! My daughter is almost a senior at the University of Utah studying Mechanical Engineering and my son just graduated MAT this year and is currently serving a two year mission for our church. My husband, Jacob Sweeney, is going on his 19th year as the Varsity Girl's Soccer coach for MAT as well. We are ALL IN. GO WILDCATS!
